Course details
The Course runs between 9.15am and 3.45pm each day.

Each day there will be a pair of morning Renaissance sessions and one
afternoon Baroque session. They can be taken separately or combined.
Students new to early dance are encouraged to attend the Wednesday
sessions, which introduce steps and terms used subsequently. Dances range
from sedate to energetic, and each session will include warm-up
exercises, deportment, steps, movements and dance figures.
Venue
Upper Hall, 181 Blues Point Road, North Sydney
A short walk south down Blues Point Road from North Sydney Station (on Blue Street)
Hall is on left-hand-side just before you reach the Lavender Street intersection.

Light comfortable clothes to give freedom of
movement.
Flexible, well-secured shoes with straps or laces, preferably without a rubber sole.
Ideally:-
* flat shoes for Renaissance (e.g. ballet flats, jazz shoes or
lightweight street shoes)
* heeled shoes for Baroque (small heels 1cm-4cm high)

Requirements
No previous dance experience is required, nor do you need to bring a partner.
Refreshments
Light refreshments will be provided for morning tea. Students should bring plenty of drinking water. If staying for the day, please be prepared to bring or buy lunch (there are shops and take-aways nearby).
